Welcome to the Empowering Kids Blog

Empowering Kids in Uganda Society is an up and coming registered Society in British Columbia, Canada that can empower and support a number of extremely vulnerable children in Northern Uganda with your help. The blog is written by Ali, the Managing Director, and is meant to give you insight into our operations in Northern Uganda and Canada.  

The blog starts with posts from Ali’s last trip to Northern Uganda. During this trip the organization was set up, the children were found and enrolled in school and a number of challenges (mostly medical) were overcome.  

EKU is extremely lucky to work with an amazing group of people and children. We hope this blog will give you a glimpse into this amazing world and the wonderful work that Empowering Kids is doing in Northern Uganda.
